SNOW GEAR DRIVE ALERT FOR KIDS IN NEED!!!
Friends of the Inyo & Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association are hosting Winter Wildlands Alliance's "Snow School" for Bishop & Mammoth 5th graders in the coming weeks. Snow School teaches kids how to walk in snowshoes, dig snow pits, calculate snow/water equivalence, understand animals and plants' adaptability to life in a wintery landscape, and, of course, play! We are seeking donations for boys and girls in need of snow-appropriate beanies, gloves, boots, jackets, hand warmers, or any other winter gear, for ages 10-12. Please drop off donations in the bin outside our second-floor office at 621 W Line St., Suite 201, Bishop, CA 93514 by January 30th. Thank you!
