SnowSchool is partnering again with the NASA SnowEx in Alaska alongside a team of educators at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. We have been hard at work creating large and small scale snow education kits that feature activities to help students living anywhere learn more about snow.

During the winter months, when valley-drenching rain storms march across the flats, the people who love to play in mountain snow will invariably wonder, At what elevation will the rain change to snow?

An ongoing scientific push to better understand one of Earth’s most important and fleeting resources begs a question relevant to all of us: What is the future of our snow?
