
The Backcountry Film Festival is a celebration of the human-powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. Funds raised at each screening stay in the local community to support human-powered recreation and conservation efforts, winter education and avalanche/safety programs and to raise awareness of winter management issues. This screening will benefit Winter Wildlands Alliance and is powered by Stio.

Friday, October 21 Screening Schedule
- 4:00pm – 6:00pm Pre-Party at Stio’s new downtown Boise Store (124 S. 6th Street) — live music by Scott Knickerbocker and Mike Rundle. Drinks will be available so get your raffle/drink tickets in advance for the night, and check out the new Stio store right across the street from our screening venue.
- 5:30pm Festival Doors Open at The Basque Center (601 W. Grove Street) — live music by High Pine Whiskey Yell. Get your seats, raffle/drink tickets, the first pick of (new!) merch, and enjoy a few other surprises from our Wild Winter team!
- 6:30pm Films Start
