The Backcountry Film Festival is a tool to help our member groups and nonprofit partners raise money for their efforts in protecting opportunities for human-powered winter recreation. It also helps to spread the word about the pleasures of backcountry skiing and snowshoeing—and build excitement for the new season.
Upon submitting your host application, the Backcountry Film Festival will reach out to you to finalize details and share the event contract with you to complete. Once you’ve signed the event contract, the Backcountry Film Festival provides the films via online download. The 90-minute program is produced for showing to your audience with an intermission. We also provide a media kit with graphics and press materials that you can customize for your event, print locally and submit to your local press.
Host a Raffle: Raffle prizes are donated by our annual sponsors and are intended to give your organization a way to additionally fundraise during your screening event. Raffle prizes are available upon first come first serve basis and is an optional addition to your event.
