Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

Already have a Donor Advised Fund? Supporting Winter Wildlands Alliance is just a recommendation away. DAFs make it easy to give in a strategic, tax-efficient way while staying connected to the causes you care about. When you authorize a gift to WWA, you’re ensuring the future of snowy landscapes and the human-powered adventures they inspire. IRA Distributions

If you’re a taxpayer 70.5 years or older, you can donate some or all of your IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) to a nonprofit tax-free by using a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Contact your IRA custodian to directly transfer funds to a qualified 501(c)(3) organization. The funds must go directly from the IRA to the charity, not to you, to avoid taxable income.
