Winter Wildlands Alliance believes in the right to your privacy and knows the importance of protecting your personal identifiable information. This privacy policy explains the policies and practices we have adopted to protect your privacy rights.

Email Addresses:

We collect email addresses through our website, membership forms, text messaging and at events. Through our email list we distribute e-news, action alerts, events and important announcements. At any time you can subscribe or unsubscribe to our email list. We do not share these email addresses with anyone.

Personal Information:

As a supporter of WWA we ask for personal identifiable information to process memberships and donations so we’re able to respond in a timely manner. We collect this information via our website, mail in membership envelopes or over the phone.  We make sure this information is secure and protected both online and offline.

Financial Information:

WWA collects financial information both online and offline.  All offline information is stored securely in our offices and accessible only by authorized employees. We use authorize.net, an online payment system, which securely and reliably manages online payments.

Our website is secure with HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) and an SSL (Secure Socket Layers) Certificate which encrypts and protects private information given online. All computers that receive or store personal information are secured by firewalls and other security measures.  

Our database is password protected and only authorized users have been given access to our system.

Partners:

WWA promotes its corporate, backcountry and grassroots partners through our website and provides a link to their sites. WWA is not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites.

Opting Out:

At any point you can choose to opt out of receiving emails, newsletters, mail or any other communication from WWA. Send us your information to info@winterwildlands.org and we will process your request or your can simply unsubscribe to our email list.
