Save the date and get your deposit in before all spots are gone!
Our annual backcountry yurt trip is set for March 1 – 4, 2022. Join Winter Wildlands Alliance Executive Director Todd Walton and WWA ambassador Rich Meyer for an unparalleled backcountry adventure in Idaho this winter!
From Sun Valley Trekking’s Coyote Yurt we’ll climb and ski pristine snow while embracing the wild winter landscapes of Idaho’s Smoky Mountains. Four days of guided skiing, three nights in a cozy yurt, wood stoves for heat, solar powered lanterns for light, bunks with mattresses, two comfortable outhouses, wood fired sauna, and a professional staff on site. Doesn’t get much better. Guests only need to bring their sleeping bags, clothes, and backcountry ski equipment. Check out this Google album from previous trips!
This fully guided and fully catered trip is limited to eight guests and always sells out. All trip proceeds benefit WWA and the work they do to protect the backcountry, which also means your trip payment is tax deductible. The cost is $2,000 per person (with an $800 deposit to secure your spot).
